Ian McWilliams is the Interim Associate Vice President of Applied Research and Continuing Education Saskatchewan Polytechnic, where ideas meet reality, delivering practical solutions to everyday problems. Ian brings to this role ten years of research administration experience and twenty-five years of experience helping to build effective teams, collaborations, and partnerships within and between organizations in education, culture, industry, and not-for-profit sectors. He has worked as a director, researcher, faculty, research facilitator, broadcaster, and educator. He holds an Interdisciplinary PhD in Canadian Plains Studies from the University of Regina, and MA & BFA degrees from the University of Saskatchewan.
